One of the banes of my small-breasted existence has been the ongoing search for good-quality, attractive bras that aren’t padded to make me look bustier. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for lifting, separating, and otherwise beefing up my negligible assets for special occasions — it’s just that, y’know, I’m happy with my boobs. And as such, I’d mostly prefer that they look like my boobs, and not the fakey C-cup boobs made out of stuffing that bra manufacturers seem to think is the only acceptable boob for a woman to have.
So, if you’re anything like me and have been looking for some non-padded, non-push-up bra action (or if you just like to look at ladies’ underwear, whatever, that’s cool too), then please consider yourself informed that aerie (the lingerie/loungewear arm of American Eagle) has these vintage-style bralettes in several different patterns and colors. Some of which are currently on sale for $15. No padding, no pokey underwires, just pretty lingerie. From an unlikely source, but let’s just buy them and not complain.
